Partnership:

We understand the needs of owners because we are owners ourselves. Furthermore, our owning family is one of the most respected in Thailand and apart from its investment in ONYX, also controls ItalThai, Thailand’s largest construction Group, (and India’s third largest).

On the side of owners

ONYX and its shareholders remain the largest single owners of hotels we manage. Beyond the ONYX portfolio, we also manage hotels for owners who wish to retain their own brands, as well as asset management of properties operated by major global hospitality brands.

Focus on financial returns:
ONYX is conservatively financed, having very little corporate or asset-level debt, and is privately owned. This means that we are not constrained by the short-term needs of any global stock market.

Proven Success:
ONYX was born in Thailand in 1965 as the Siam Lodge hotel Group and evolved into Amari Hotels and Resorts in 1992. We have lived through numerous crises including SARS, the Tsunami, and various forms of political unrest.
