Team Member, Housekeeping (Public Area/ Pool/ Laundry)
- Reads the logbook daily and take action accordingly.
- Provides information regarding the hotel’s facilities & services.
- Ensures to always be informed of VIP in-house and daily functions.
- Handles guest complaints in accordance with service recovery guidelines.
- Knows and strictly follows all established cleaning procedures for:
¨ Polishing
¨ Vacuuming
¨ Scrubbing
¨ Mopping
¨ Shampooing
¨ Dusting
- Completes Room/Public Area work assignment sheet.
- Knows how to operate/use available Housekeeping machinery’s and chemicals according to established standards.
- Follows all procedures for Lost and Found.
- Is familiar with and adhere to all housekeeping procedures for the issuing and return of floor masters.
- Handovers all unfinished work to the following shift.
Rooms
- Know and strictly follow established procedures for the cleaning and set-up of guest rooms.
- Sets up the work trolley according to standards.
- Carries out the following procedures according to established standards:
DND (Do Not Disturb)/Double Lock, Baby Sitting, Loan Item Loss & Breakage, Guest laundry pick up, Temperature control
- Replenishes guest supplies and ensures all linen in guest rooms is clean and well-pressed.
- Contacts In-room Dining to have all trays, trolleys and equipment removed from guest rooms, corridors and pantries.
- Removes all trays and trolleys found in corridors to pantry awaiting pick-up by In-room Dining.
- Reports to the supervisor repair and maintenance needs.
- Implements turndown service in accordance with established standards.
Public Areas
- Cleans all designated public areas in accordance with established procedures.
- Ensures all flower arrangements are fresh and attractive and reports to Team Leader any arrangements, which are not up to standards.
- Ensures a high standard of cleanliness of corridors and service areas.
Linen & Uniforms
- Knows and follows procedures for uniforms/linen exchange.
- Methodically organizes uniforms and linen storage.
- Is involved in the uniform and linen Inventory.
- Identifies numbering par of uniforms.
- Ensures any damage that may occur to any linen or uniforms is followed up quickly.
- Delivers room linen to the pantry and ensures delivery of soiled linen to laundry.
- Keeps linen carts clean and in good condition at all times.
- Takes inventory of uniforms and house linen.
- Spot checks cleanliness of linen of uniforms that come back from the laundry.
Seamstress
- Responsible for repairing, alterations and the proper maintenance of uniforms.
- Repairs house linen and sews new articles as assigned.
- Keeps the sewing machine in good working order.
- Min diploma in hospitality or equivalent.
- Team-oriented person.
- Good command of English language, knowledge of other languages is a plus.
- Poses previous related experience preferably.
