Italian Sous Chef - Prego Pattaya Restaurant
- Creative, Open minded, team player, to be able to meet restaurant guests in a daily basis, accommodate any possible request from guests in a cordially manner.
- Responsible of the daily kitchen activities, including overseeing staff, menu preparation, ensuring food quality and freshness, and monitoring ordering and stocking. Also maintain control of the food cost
- Provides meal quality and consistency by following designated recipes and organizes kitchen stock, ingredients and storage units to meet standards
- Leads the kitchen team, provides guidance to junior kitchen staff members, including, to line cooking, food preparation, and dish plating, also train kitchen employees to restaurant and kitchen standards
- Ensures a first-in, first-out food rotation system and verifies all food products are properly dated and organized for quality assurance.
- Manages food and product ordering by keeping detailed records and minimizes waste, plus works with existing systems to improve waste reduction, manage budgetary concerns
- Supervises all food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and restaurant standards.
- Works with Head Chef to maintain kitchen organization, staff ability, and training opportunities. And assists Head Chef with menu creation and recipes.
- To be a HACCP champion.
- Italian Nationality with an authentic Italian Restaurant experience
- Has Management & Leadership skills
- Good Interpersonal skill
